It can track walking, running, swimming, cycling, soccer, tennis, basketball and more. Also it doesn’t need to be charged but has a battery that lasts up to 6 months before being replaced.

Nike+ Fuelband has its own unit of measurement which converts your everyday activities into NikeFuel. It will keep track of your excercises at the end of the day and let you know if you are short on your goal and need an extra walk or a short workout. The disadvantage is the fact that there is no off option so even if you’re just moving your arms because you are driving you will still earn Fuel.

Garmin has a littlefeature which is called the “Move Bar” and appears on the display after one hour of inactivity and additional lights start up for every 15 minutes of inactivity after that. It also pairs up with an HR strap which is something that Fitbit products lack of. Garmin uses two small watch batteries that work well for at least a year.

It helps you set “Today I Will” goals and is compatible with any phones with Bluetooth 4.0, Android Jelly Bean or iOS 6.0 or later. UP24 is not very famous but a mainly 5-star device nonetheless.

Polar automatically synchronise to the free Polar Flow app and training community via Bluetooth to help you track your progress and stay motivated. It is waterproof and has a 5 day continuous use battery life. Polar is not that famous in the market but has earned its fair share of 5-star reviews claiming that the Polar Loop has been the most trouble free!

Another Fitbit creation that is a must-add to this list because its design is just too adorable to ignore. Zip tracks everything, sets goals, views progress and gives you badges! You can also share and compete with friends throughout the day and who doesn’t find a little friendly competition motivating!

The Striiv Touch is a fitness tracker and a smart watch in one. The battery life lasts up to 5 days and is water resistant. Plus, you get access to the Striiv Activity Tracker app which makes your step count towards charity which is the best way to keep you motivated as you make the world a better place while you go for your daily run. You can get real-time text alerts, incoming call notifications and a gentle vibrating alarm. Averaging at a 3-4 star rating because of a few syncing glitches, the Striiv is still a nice underground choice.

Also a smart watch, the LG Lifeband is compatible with most of the latest Android and Apple devices and has easy controls when it comes to music, call and text notifications and interval training modes.
